Odds & Ends: United Kingdom and Ireland edition

England: ($) recently analyzed their Clandestine Marriage and Baptism Registers 1667-1754 collection and put together a write-up of what’s there, an interesting look into marriage in the century prior to 1754. “…during this time over half of all London weddings took place in premises surrounding Fleet Prison.” Read more @ the GenealogyBlog
